About the Artist

Tin Javier is a self-taught artist from Cavite. Her earlier collage works were mostly inspired by people who are very important as historical figures, royalties, indigenous leaders, and folklores. She also loves painting children, animals, and plants.

Her collage style involves recycling used paper, reused stamps for color, and punched paper to add more style and texture to her work. She wants her art to express her environmental, child rights, and women empowerment advocacies and promote the Filipino cultures and traditions, and spread awareness about the indigenous people.
