Art Haul 2024

Various artists

Oct 17 To Nov 17, 2024

Cartellino, in partnership with Fundacion Sansó, is proud to present the selected works for Art Haul 2024. Handpicked from a pool of entries to this year’s open call, the collection reflects a diverse mix of art styles and artistic concerns in celebration of the creative potential of the Filipino youth.

Fundacion Sansó

Fundacion Sansó is a not-for-profit institution created with the intent of protecting, preserving, and promoting the artistic legacy of Juvenal Sansó, a multi-awarded visual artist with a stellar international career spanning more than 70 years.

Aside from running the museum, Fundacion Sansó is an active art center dedicated to helping the cultural sector of the country through the development of multifaceted projects, scholarships, and grants. Among these are educational grants where recipients are awarded a range of support that include basic monthly stipends meant to supplement school allowances for them to be able to acquire art materials or spend on daily needs.  Graduating beneficiaries are also included in a special exhibition held at the museum to introduce them to galleries and collectors to help them start their professional art careers.

Fundacion Sansó has always been cognizant of the importance of successful partnerships. By partnering with people, institutions, and brands which share the same values for excellence, great service and art, Fundacion Sansó expands its reach to various audiences while allowing our partners to share in the legacy of Mr. Sansó, and our own loyal community.

Cartellino

Cartellino is a platform for contemporary art that operates as a digest, online shop, and gallery. Its digest is a regular source for contributed content about the cultural landscape at large, while its shop regularly features emerging talent from a dynamic pool of artists, illustrators, and other creative practitioners. Earlier this year, Cartellino opened its first exhibition space at Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.

Its unique engagement with the creative community opens casual, but incisive ways into contemporary art as it brings together readers and writers, emerging and established artists, new collectors and seasoned patrons alike.

Now on its second year, Art Haul is part of a shared commitment to nurturing the new generation of art practitioners. It is also launched to promote Fundacion Sansó’s growing list of initiatives aimed at supporting emerging artists. Among these are the institution’s educational grants programs that have been assisting Fine Arts students from the Philippines since 2019.
