For Science: Space Encounters Gallery Launches Online Fundraiser

Eureka! Ongoing is Space Encounters Gallery’s online exhibit and fundraiser, Art for Science, available for view in the gallery’s Facebook and Instagram accounts until May 30, 2020. All artworks are original, signed, and assured with a Certificate of Authenticity; delivery and pickup of purchased works will be available after the enhanced community quarantine.

Accumulating works by artists from the gallery’s remarkable exhibits since its opening in 2017, the fundraiser features the likes of Nonie Cruzado, Mark “KDLT” Copino, Jem Magbanua, Arno Salvador, and more. 25% of the profits shall aid the University of the Philippines Medical Foundation in acquiring PPE masks for its health workers.

According to gallery owners Wilmer Lopez and Thor Balanon, “Since this is a health crisis, the Gallery thought of helping out the people who will be responsible for the solution: the scientists and doctors.”

Interested buyers may inquire for reservations at any one of the gallery’s channels. Transactions can be done via Chinabank, BDO, and BPI and must be completed in two days to secure purchase.
