Stories, Truths, and Beliefs In The Eyes Of Than Sok

The exhibition unfolds with the lightness of water and the weight of one’s reflection on it, and the significance of an object in ritualistic circumstances. In Objects of Belief, Than Sok explores where truth and belief lie in objects from the Theravada Buddhist pagodas of present-day Cambodia. Meanwhile, Kbach Teuk displays a narrative that's both traditional and personal to the artist, drawing inspiration from memories of boat races with his father. Currents shows dimensions and reflections of years of studies and what appears to be a pilgrimage by the artist revealing various truths, beliefs, and stories.
