Mark Jeffrey R. Santos is a Visual Artist residing in Makati, Philippines. He studied BS Multi-media arts and Sciences (MAS) at the Mapua Institute of Technology in 2003, where he began his ventures in the creative industry.
He studied traditional to digital art, photography, graphic design, and in the fields of film and video, not knowing that these are just stepping stones to become an aspiring visual artist. Being heavily influenced by western pop surrealism and feudal japan, The subjects are usually a sasquatch, big cats, and children wearing a kimono wandering around a vast desolate land where fishes float. His works often depict his current emotions or reaction to events that are happening in our world. He translates these emotions into a peacefully bizarre visual masterpiece.
