Born in the Philippines, Joey Cobcobo has won multiple awards in many competitions, a prestigious one of note is the Juror’s Choice of Excellency in the Philippine Art Awards 2010. His works have been displayed in exhibitions held worldwide, from local exhibitions in the Philippines to those overseas in the USA, Vietnam, South Korea, and Australia.
For his contributions to the art scene, Cobcobo was one of the 13 recipients of the Artists Award given by the Cultural Centre of the Philippines in 2012.
