JA Balaguer Chimes In

JA Balaguer (1991, Manila) is a digital artist, curator, critic, art writer, and art manager. His works have been exhibited in Pineapple Lab and Ateneo de Manila University (Ateneo Heights Artists Workshop Exhibit) and published in Heights, Stache, and Kanto Magazine. He received the Loyola Schools Art Award for Illustration in 2012 and the Ateneo Art Awards for Art Criticism in 2019.

He is also behind the online space for collaboration for emerging art: CURARE.

I am doing some art writing for the rest of 2020—a year in art review for Art Asia Pacific, and a heritage feature for Kanto.

Existential nihilism.
