“This piece was shown on my 6th solo exhibit at the pinto art museum. This piece was inspired after being in awe of nature after a hike to Mt. Pulag; the highest point in the Luzon. The clouds were casting a blanket over these majestic mountains and one gets a sense of how small and irrelevant one’s ego is in relation to the world he’s living in. This piece was painted with the idea, ‘If a shell breaks from the outside, death occurs but if a shell is broken from the inside, life begins.’”
